In early 2012 Activum made an all-cash purchase of a site taking up an entire city block in Charlottenburg, Berlin. Thiw was a 100 year old landmark protected, but abandoned building that had previously served as a children´s hospital.. The distinct architecture and interior courtyard and quiet surrounding green area create a powerful, yet calm space that lends itself to a residential re-development. Anfang 2012 tätigte Activum den Barankauf eines Grundstücks, das einen ganzen Häuserblock im Berliner Bezirk Charlottenburg umfasst. Der Schwerpunkt des Projekts liegt auf einem 100 Jahre alten denkmalgeschützten, leerstehenden Gebäude, das zuletzt als Kinderklinik genutzt wurde. Die besondere Architektur, der Innenhof und die stille, grüne Umgebung schaffen einen kraftvollen und doch ruhigen Raum. Der Standort bietet sich für den Wohnungsbau an. Activum arbeitet gerade die Entwicklungsstrategie für dieses mehrjährige und mehrstufige Projekt aus.
