- Experienced professional with significant expertise in living and operational real estate hired
- Previous roles include senior positions at Greystar and Thriving Investments
- Announcement follows an active summer for ActivumSG, including recent platform launches and direct asset acquisitions in the living and hospitality sectors representing c.€1.2bn in target GAV
UK, 19 September 2025: ActivumSG, one of Europe’s largest independent real estate investment managers, today announces the hire of Adam Tutka as Director within its Global Client Solutions and Capital Formation team.
Tutka brings over 14 years of real estate experience within the fund management and private equity space, during which time he helped amass and manage £5bn+ of AUM for a mix of global institutional investors.
Prior to joining ActivumSG, Tutka was a Senior Director at Greystar, one of the world’s largest living sector investors, developers and managers. At Greystar, he played a key role in the firm’s day-to-day institutional investment management, capital raising, and investor servicing activity covering core-plus to opportunistic strategies across the UK and Europe. Most recently, Tutka was Director of Capital Markets at UK living sector specialist Thriving Investments, where he led capital raising and formation activities.
Tutka is based in London and reports to Eric Lemer, ActivumSG’s Head of Global Client Solutions and Capital Formation, to service the manager’s existing investor base and support new product development and fundraising efforts for future strategies.
Today’s announcement follows ActivumSG’s recent platform launches and a direct asset acquisition in the accommodation sectors, with a target GAV of c.€1.2bn:
- The majority acquisition of German serviced apartment company Centralis, which ActivumSG will look to scale into a €500m+ (GAV) platform. The transaction included the corporate platform, nine initial assets in prime locations across A and B cities in Germany, as well as a substantial exclusive pipeline
- The launch of a purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) platform targeting £500m+ (GAV) in assets, focused on re-positioning and modernising existing PBSA stock in the UK. The platform has been seeded with an initial portfolio of seven assets (£100m+ GAV), with additional assets under exclusivity
- The €175m acquisition of the Fairmont La Hacienda, a five-star seafront resort located in Spain’s Costa del Sol, which adds to ActivumSG’s existing portfolio of luxury hotels located in Spain, including The SLS Barcelona and Nobu Hotel Barcelona
Saul Goldstein, Founder and CEO, ActivumSG, said: “Adam’s arrival comes at an exciting time, as we look to build on our recent activity in the UK and European accommodation sectors to provide global investors with de-risked access to differentiated, scalable investment opportunities within living and hospitality real estate.”
Eric Lemer, Head of Global Client Solutions and Capital Formation, ActivumSG, said: “ActivumSG’s status as a trusted partner to global institutional and private capital has been hard-earned over the last 18 years, and we selected Adam for his experience in executing on behalf of sophisticated investors and his commitment to best-in-class client service. I am already working closely with him on a number of new endeavours.”
Adam Tutka, Director, Global Client Solutions and Capital Formation, ActivumSG, said: “ActivumSG’s entrepreneurial culture and nimble investment approach, with the ability to access opportunities across the capital stack and via direct asset, corporate and special situations investments, made this a highly appealing role.
“My experience complements the firm’s current thematic focus on the living and hospitality sectors, with now being a particularly exciting time to join as ActivumSG looks to scale its UK and European real estate portfolio.”
